Description

The Religious Emblems/Scout Sunday Chair assists with locating opportunities for scouts to work on

their religious emblem awards each fall. Each denomination has a different emblem, and the Chair can

help scouts connect with a leader or local class, or even organize a class at AUMC to complete their

requirements. For Scout Sunday, which is usually the first Sunday in February, the Chair coordinates

with the pastor at AUMC to involve the Cub Scouts in the service for that week. As Religious

Emblems/Scout Sunday Chair, you would help a scout learn about his faith and how a scout is reverent.
