One of the key positions in the Pack, the Committee Chair is responsible for working with the Cubmaster
to plan and execute all Pack functions. The CC will lead the yearly planning meeting in July, and conduct
monthly Pack Committee meetings (usually the first Sunday of each month). The CC handles all
paperwork, including new membership applications, adult leader applications, and yearly recharter. The
CC is also responsible for making sure all adult leaders are current with their training. The CC will plan
and support recruiting efforts at the start of each school year, including coordinating school open houses
and information nights for new scouts. As Committee Chair, you would have a major influence on the
Pack schedule and program, and get the satisfaction of putting together a great experience for the Cubs.
