Advancements

Typical months of activity: September to May

Requirements:

● Scout Leader uniform: Not required

● Attend Pack Committee meetings: Yes

● Training: Yes, online

● Access to local scout shop

The Advancements Chair coordinates with den leaders each month to get a list of the belt loops, pins, or

badges scouts have earned. He or she then will purchase all needed items at the local scout shop, and

have them ready for distribution at the Pack meeting. The AC also obtains handbooks for scouts at the

start of each new program year, and maintains records of awards earned by each den. As Advancements

Chair, you would have the opportunity to help celebrate each scout’s accomplishments.
